National Professional Qualification In Senior Leadership (NPQSL)

National Professional Qualification In Senior Leadership (NPQSL)

Overview

This programme has been developed collaboratively between school leaders, UCL teaching staff and researchers and is built upon high-quality leadership practice, evidence and research.

It is a varied programme of study that enables participants to self-reflect and apply their learning in their own context. Participants will receive learning journals to support each of their development days.

The curriculum framework is built around six content areas and seven leadership behaviours, all of which are common to each level of NPQ, enabling leaders to develop the depth and breadth of knowledge .

Who is it for?

Those who are, or are aspiring to become, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities e.g. an experienced middle leader, a deputy head teacher, an assistant head teacher, or other senior staff.
